Should or
should not women quit after giving birth to their first child? In my opinion, I
strongly agree that women should quit after their first delivery. This is due
to the economic crisis in each family, heavy burden to raise a child and health
issue.
Lately, our
country is facing an economic crisis where many financial problems are raised
in most of the family. From a report which was compiled by Centre for Economics
and Business Research, it shows that from an average family to raise a child
costs around RM218,000 which was a surprisingly big number for an ordinary
family to handle. This is why a child in a family is more than enough to
handle. Therefore, women should quit delivery after their first child has born
as to reduce the cost of living of one family.
Secondly, it
would probably be a huge burden for a family just to raise only a child and the
burden will surely to increase if they raise another child. This is because
nowadays most of mother will be working and do not have enough time to nurture
their child. They would probably send their child to nursery or kindergarten,
which cost a lot of money. Hence, it will bring more burdens to the family just
to pay for their child’s nursing bills.
Lastly, the
chances for a woman in her mid 30s to give birth to more than one child of
getting breast cancer is much higher compare to those women who only gave birth
to one child and this was proven by a research recently made by World Health
Organization. Breast cancer is a chronic disease that is fatal for anyone who
has it and until today, there is no cure for it. How can a child being look
after and grow up like a normal child if their mother was severely sick. This
illness will also cause death to the mother and the child would probably lack
of parental care. So, to reduce the risk of getting illness women should quit
after first delivery.
In
conclusion, prevention is better than cure and women can prevent this entire
problem from happening just by quitting after their first delivery.
