Words of Randomness

How long have I not been blogging? Hmm, 2 months, or 3? Well, it’s not the main point here. So we meet again, blog. I wonder how much you have changed since the last time I logged into a blog account. It actually took quite a long time for me to figure out the interface and layout of the dashboard, especially when I had to create a blog which allows more than one administrator or author to post on it. Okay, I admit that I’m obsolete.

Time flies and it’s already the last month of 2012, the month which is going to be the full stop of our second trimester in UTP. It’s also expected to be much challenging, thanks to tonnes of quizzes as well as tests. What could be worse? Those people out there are actually anticipating the Doomsday or the end of the world to fall on this month. Well, it’s not a good idea to talk about or judge the credibility of this news. Let’s just be neutral. After all it might be one of the big events of the month, who knows? Whether it’s true or not, we still have to get ourselves prepared for the real catastrophe, which ‘experts’ and ‘professionals’ believed to be an irremediable and ineluctable five-day event (arguably four) starting on the 27th of this month. Needless to hint or explain further, I presume every one of us here is aware of what it is.

Towards the end of this trimester, there are indeed a lot of works and tasks to be settled to wrap up this 4-month period of study. Some are tedious as always; some are surprisingly not, just like this cyber-writing module, which is why I’m here, writing some random stuff that doesn’t really make sense. But somehow, it’s somewhat fun, as we students have been accustomed to paperwork, written jobs and oral tasks, but not this kind of online stuff. This is undoubtedly one of the novel methods of teaching and learning that are capable of sparking our interest in the language.

What else can I say at this critical moment? Wish you all the best of luck in days and weeks ahead, and ultimately in the calamitous final exams as well. Cheerio!
